Boiler Installation

With OneHeat

One of the things that helps to set OneHeat apart is our ever-growing army of experienced and qualified gas engineers.

While many other customers suffer a bad boiler installation by smaller companies that have a ‘revolving door’ of short-term employees and sub-contractors, or some larger boiler firms that are actually nomore than tech companies connected to a network of subcontractors, OneHeat employs its own gas engineers wherever possible. This helps to retain vital boiler installation knowledge and experience within the business so that our customers can ultimately feel the benefit of that experience when it comes to boiler surveys and installation.

What happens before the boiler is installed?

1. Video Survey

Before we install a new boiler, our gas engineers want to ensure that the proposed boiler is right for you. That’s why we don’t provide a fixed quotation until we know that your choice of new boiler is going to deliver what you need it to, and we don’t get any surprises on installation.

We conduct a FREE video boiler survey as standard to ensure we know what we’re dealing with and we’re recommending the right boiler. This will include checking the position and condition of the existing flue, water pipes and gas pipes to ensure everything is fit for purpose.

2. Price Confirmation

Once we have built an accurate picture of your existing heating system, we can build a package for you based around the affordability and suitability of the boilers in our inventory.

We’ll discuss upfront prices as well as finance options to help you spread the cost of your new boiler over 2 to 10 years*. We’ll ensure that before you book your installation, everyone is clear on the price, the product and how it will be installed.

3. Installation Prep

We’ll then organise your boiler installation date with you.

Please ensure that you can grant our engineers full access to the necessary parts of the property. Usually this will include the intended boiler location, as well as the gas meter and water stopcock. They will also need sufficient room for two men to bring in the boiler itself and fix it to the wall.

Our gas engineers understand the need to minimise mess, stress and risk to your home, and will always take reasonable precautions and steps to ensure your boiler installation is conducted with minimal impact to your home.
